well by reading the facts and looking at the pics and prices...i know where i am getting my next set of tires...i didn't even know that was possible, i say go for it. of course report back to us whether or not we should try it. For that much of a discount you almost can't go wrong

Check out this site for some information on retreads. I have used a set on my plow truck for years and they hold up well. But this is on a truck that doesn't see the road often and never gets up past 40 miles an hour. But no complaints.

I have a foundation bisness with my father and our boom truck has all recaps on it. That's right 12 out of 14 tire's on my truck are recaps. Only had one blowout so far and the tire was shot anyways. My uncle has 2 trucks over the road that haul double trailers for fed ex and he too runs recaps . No major problems. As a matter of fact my next set of muds for my new work truck will be recaps as well. I see no reason not to run them. I think it was last year that 4-wheeler magazine did some tests on them from high-tec and were thourghly impressed with them. Hope this helps. By the way his 33x12.5 mud terrain is in the dunlop radial mud rover desighn. I had a set of those before and loved them. Great wear traction and minimal road noise.
