I have 97 4x4 and was wondering if i could fit 32x11.5 on stock rims and be able to run them without any sort of a lift?

you can BUT it depends on what brand you go with, i have a friend with no lift and 32x11.5 buckshot mudders (made by maxxis) and he has no rubbing or t-bars cranked. to your other Q cranking the t-bars will wear them out quicker and make your truck ride a little stiffer depending on how far you crank them.

I run a 33x12.5 on my 98 with no lift. I wheeled it hard before I got my jeep and the only rubbing I could get was on the frame at full lock...

i'll have to call you on that one! no rub at all?!?!? my buddy has 97' 4x4 with a 3 inch body lift with stock rims and 32x11.5 M/Ts and he even has a little at full lock.

hey Mr. BS, i have a 2000 qc with bridgestone dueller m/t 32x11.5 on stock rims and no lift. they havent rubbed yet, but i havent tested them on rough terrain yet either... its not BS, maybe the older trucks have a different setup.

3 INCH LIFT DIFFERENCE? doubtful, but maybe so, after all it is your truck not mine. do 2000 rims have the same backspacing?

a body lift only lifts the body, therefore if there is rubbing on the frame at full lock it would not matter if someone had a 5" body lift, the frame is where it is rubbing, simply adjust your turn stops...I have installed BFGs 32s on durangos with one half turn of the torsion bars, no rubbing ever, good ride quality...
