it's finally here, i get my lift put on today! i know nobody cares but i had to tell someone! we start tonight and finish tomorrow. it's the 3inch PA body lift and i am going to run 32x11.5 Kumho Venture M/Ts on her. can't wait to get'r done!

i was getting the kuhmos but a friend totaled his truck so i get his 32s for really cheap! anyway i know by now you have seen j-rods. my advice is get the kuhmos...those things look mean

GET'R DONE!!! I go home from the desert in 3 days!! My lift kit should be waiting for me when I get home!! I am considering going with the Draw-tite front hitch although I know that I will have to fo MAJOR modification to make it work with my Westin guard and the 3" PA lift for my 03 QC Dakota. 3 MORE DAYS AND NO MORE SAUSAGE FEST SANDBOX!!!!

congrats on coming home and the lift. as for the grill...if you can weld it isn't that bad. plus, NOBODY other than me that i know of has a "real" grille gaurd on their truck after a body lift and i get soooo many compliments and questions from other dak owners on how i did it.

2 more days and I will be on my way home!! No more Iraq, no more permanent cheese smell!! Anywayz, I ordered parth number: 65029. Since I have been waiting in an air terminal I have had plenty of access to a computer and a phone so I decided to give Draw-tite a call as well as Westin. I gave them the style lift that I went with and I have been garunteed that the front hitch will NOT interfere with the body lift or the Grill guard. My grill guard mounts above and below the bumper as far as I can remember, (I've been in Iraq for about a year now), which will raise with my body lift, and the draw-tite hitch only mounts to the cross-member in the front which will stay put regardless of the lift. Which means nothing will interfere with eachother. I'll be posting pics in a few weeks after I get everything installed. First I gotta get home, eat a steak, drink a beer, and get laid. God bless the USA, this boy is coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the words of encouragement, guys. Its been a LONG TIME!! I can't wait to get in my truck and blast through St. Louis where I am stationed all the way to Greenville, SC where my parents live. With all of the stuff that I have ordered and the 30 days of recoup time I've been given, it looks like the only thing I will be doing is makin my truck one bad M*therF*cker!! My plane is being fueled and prepped right now. Just wanted to say hey to everyone before I fly off into the sunset to the land of milk and honey. I'll have pics up soon. I'm becoming a member to this site as soon as I get home. Laterz. -Odyssey.
