For all you guys out there that said Truckin' Suspension doesn't work, you've gotta' just know what you're doing underneathe a Dakota. They're practically morphodite vehicles, with there unique lug patterns and drivelines and such, here's the finished product. Just copy http://dodgetruckworld.tenmagazines.com/mygallery.ten?id=8588 and paste it in address line. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

It would be nice to hear that TS/ AIM got the s h i t together and made their lift to be more solid than what they have been offering. We have seen people like you around before praising the lift when it is new then a few weeks later come back with their crap broken, not all but most.

Hope it all works out for ya. Street queen or off roader?

With them tires I would assume off road. The lift is not built for off road unfortunatly.

Hey you guys. Sorry It took me so long to reply, I've been out of towm. It's a 6.5" lift with a 2" keyway torsion bar lift and add-a-leaf in the rear for a total of 8.5"s. I don't normally take it off-road, but I have. The kit has been installed for almost 6 months now, and still no problems, yet. I guess I'll just have to keep drivin'. Thanks for the posts, guys.

Nice - wish I could do that with my 2003.

Just curious why your selling. Seems a little fishy if the lift is truely a good lift. Why go through all that time and money to sell?

Well, I'm selling the truck because of the gas mileage. I'm spending over $200 a week just on gas! I already bought a mustang cobra, so the truck is just burning a hole in my pocket. But for difficulty on the installation, I wouldn't just jack it up in my driveway on blocks. I'd be happy to answer any questions you guys might have while installing it, but it can get very frustrating. I did mine on a lift at my work.

Yes I did. The bump stops and droops have to be cut off of the frame in the front of your suspension. This is a bolt on kit, but welding is HIGHLY recommended! I welded every bracket, except for a few they may need adjustments in the future, and obviously not my upper or rear lower a-arm drop brackets(those have to me adjusted every time you get an alignment). GOOD LUCK

Welding to a vehicle's frame is a very bad idea. All factory welding is done before a heat treat process. Welding without heat treat severely compormises the strength of the frame in the area of the weld.

What was the final outcome $$$ wise? Tire sizes & mpg plz.

I gotta do something more with my '02 QC 4x4. Came too close to getting stuck in the deer lease this weeekend, twice.

My Dak is all purpose, Work/Play & Daily Driver. Tryin to figure if I can justify the fuel $$$ for a nice play truck also.

Hey Frank. Quit hating on the trucks that work. Sorry that yours didn't work out, maybe you just suck at what you do?

Sicminds: I've seen you're truck a lot actually, you work off of Nova Rd. don't you? It looks real good. There's another truck that looks exactly like your's too, but it has a "fastback" thing on it, seen it?
