my air bag light is on after instaling my 3 inch body lift,what the hell did i do now!anybody got any ideas.searching posts didnt bring up much
98cc 4x4,3.9l,3" bodylift,cranked t bars, two inch lift blocks in the back,33x12.5's

did you take out the airbag fuse when you did the kit? if so did you put it back in? try disconnecting the positive from the battery for 30 seconds to reset the computer. good luck

no i didnt disconnect it when i did the lift.i havent a clue why the light is on.it came on imediatly after putting the battery cable back on

did you lock the steering wheel before adding the steering shaft extension. if it spun you may have broken your clock spring. does your horn and cruise control work?

Try disconnecting the battery, removing and reinstalling the airbag fuse, and then reconnect the battery again and see what happens. If it doesn't work, go to the dealer, they can shut it off for you..i dont think it'll cost anything. (only if u ask them nicely)
