ok so i have come to conclusion that pretty much all the lift kits for the dakota (97-04) are crap.. we can all agree that the tuff country, the whiplash and superlift or whatever are crap...But the last main lift kit aval. is that rancho, and i know thay are a respectable company since alot of my buddies with chevys and toyotas have their lift.. so how about the 3 inch rancho lift? I dont care how tall the lift is, just want some more clearance and a better look. So is the rancho lift any good? and if so why are all the others crap? does it have to do with the dak themselves or is it the lift kit companies that just dont do it right?

ps... also.. why does the steering on 00 and newer daks interfeer with lift kits for them? i have a 99 thank god so there are a lot of liftfs for them... but what did dodge change on the steering for the 00 and new daks and why are they so hard to make a lift for? and what kind of steering is used on my 99 dak since the newer ones are rack and pinion i beleive? thanks and sorry for the long post.
