 Subject: 03 Airaid kit doesn't fit 04

I bought the Airaid filter kit the other day, Summit Racing, got it in 3 days. Drop in the filter on the metal adapter housing, go to connect the intake hose and no go. The hose is too big for the adapter. I call Airaid and they say Dodge went to a bigger intake hose on the 2004 4.7 V8. Any one know if this is true or if they sent the wrong kit? The other part fit fine. I did need to get a piece of heater hose for the breather to fit, but no big deal. I was able to adapt by inserting a smaller rubber hose inside the intake hose and then attaching it, but I'm just wondering about the change from 03 to 04 thing.
Also anyone use this kit w/ a PA body lift? The hose gets pulled kinda funky...Any harm there?

AirRaid is aware of the problem. I am taking my truck (2004 4.7) to them on Friday so they can take meassurements. Dodge has changed some things on the '04 4.7 and since I live near by, I have offered up my truck to them. Call their 1-800 number and talk with Chip about the problem. They are some great guys and Im sure they will make everything better.
