put a 1" block in the back and lower the rear an inch . cheaper than lifting the front . The front is 2" and you could use fabtech coils or a spacer ...............

Doesn't he want to raise the front? Why not just crank on the torsion bars til it levels?

ahh good question...
get the fabtech 2" coil lift (go to www.truckperformance.com) thats what i have... it was easy to throw on and it rides like factory... a lil rougher but hey its a truck right, all in all i think i payed 200 for it. and i could fit 31's. thats the best way to go... if u want something to last.

Hey sixlugz is this the kit you are referring to? http://www.truckperformance.com/products/?productID=480752 Just wanting to make sure. It'll will be a while before I get the money to buy it cuz I have other mods for my truck on the chopping block before this one but its never to early to start planning.

im going to be soon raising it another 3" w/ a body lift... my only question is... do you think it will look good or if it is a good idea? im also thinking of doin about a 1" spacer on the tires.

You can keep the factory rims. I have the 2" lift up front sittin' on 31" Pro comp all terrains and the factory rims. I say it looks darn good. I wouldn't go to aftermarket rims.

Alright, thanks Anthony. I'll probably be ordering the 2" kit from truckperformance.com in a couple of weeks. I'm gonna try and put it in myself if it doesn't seem like too hard of a task for my skill level. I'd hate to waste money paying for someone to put it in. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Also, I just got new tires about a month ago (this was before I wanted to do a lift) and the size of the tires are P245/70R16. Will these tires look alright with the 2" lift? According to sixlugz its possible to fit 31's but I'd hate to buy new tires after just buying new ones. If it looks bad then I'll probably hold off on the lift. Just want it to look right.

You can definently fit 31's. Im running 31x10.5x15. Looks sweet. I was thinking about adding another three to get even higher. But I have to wait and see. Good luck.

I have my original tires from my 04 Quad Cab. 265/75R16's (31x10.5x16) that I'm trying to sell. They have 5000 miles on them. I just went to 33x12.5x16 Swamper Truxs STS's after my body lift.
If your interested e-mail me. brandofamily@aol.com
I'm near Chicago.

I own a 03 extended cab SXT 2WD, How much can I lift
the front end without (A) no modifications, and (B)
little modifications. I dont mind the alignment but
I don't want to alter the truck too much.
P.S. at the present the suspension isn't sagged out.

thanks
lorrie cronk
