 Subject: URGENT - Rancho Lift brake line DEFECT!!

This may be old news to some, but I received a phone call from Rancho advising that the brake lines shipped with my kit(March 2003) have been found to be defective. They advised I had to purchase the new and improved brake lines at my expense and forward receipt for reimbursement. I ordered the brake lines today(Part# RS170087 and RS170088) for a grand total of $120.00 from my local Rancho dealer!
Wanted to make sure that anyone that has the Rancho lift and didn't receive a phone call contact Rancho to make sure yours are safe, #734-384-7898. I spoke with Connie.

I am pretty sure I already have the newer brake lines. They sent them to me when I was installing the lift. Are these replacements for those, meaning the third set of brake lines?

I actually didn't ask that, but I believe the kits we were sent last year were held up a couple extra weeks from shipping due to the fact that their brake lines were not DOT approved yet. The lines on my truck now DO have DOT Approved tags on them so I don't know what the deal is but I am not taking any chances if they will reimburse me for the new parts.
