That was not my truck, it belonged to a guy named Jake here in central Florida.
The whole underside is aftermarket. If I remember right, it was Ford axles and a lot of welding for all the suspension components.
If I ever come across the guy again, I'll see if I can get more info on the truck.

i don't think its such a nice setup....

truck is a decent amount taller than what's needed to be practical off-road (not just dirt roads mind you)

he *will* rub when he's turning and flexing slightly on the fender.

nay on the body lift IMO with so much work done to the suspension

nay on the dual stabilizers - WHY does he need them?!?!

the links/joints/link mounts on the axle are somewhat weak IMO

the nerf bar has to go.

in other words, another street queen.

Just because it`s not a beat up piece of $hit like yours doesn`t mean it a "street queen" you dumb fuk!!!

I`ve seen the truck and met the person who owned it , and it was bad a$$.

Dana 60 in the front and a Ford 9 in. in the rear. As for the body lift , it was on before he did the suspension lift and opted to keep it on for more height.

I guess he could always to a friggin saws all to the fenders like you did ,so the tires wouldn`t rub , like you *say* they will...oh yea , they didn`t rub , so go back in your own world and pretend you have a bad a$$ truck too.

You pathetic dipsh!t.

the fenders were cut before the swap, they're going to get replaced.

his sh!t doesn't rub? Bullsh!t. Look how close the tire comes to the fender. flex it out a bit and turn the tire and rubbing you have.

you know absolutely nothing about off-roading and off-road vehicles you sh!thead?

by the way, my swap was just recently finished, there's still work left to do.

pathetic.. and we wonder why dodgedakotas.com is full of morons like you.

1. Jealous?
2. Too high? Your opinion!
3. No fender rub issues after the lift.
4. Nay? Y not? Once again, your opinion!
5. Nay? Y not again? Theres that opinion again!
6. Weak? Nah, the setup does not show regular needed maintenance to fix the weak areas.
7. Nothing wrong with the nerfs, Damn that opinion!

Opinions are like A$$holes, everyone's got one...guess you have a HUGE opinion, eh? Now I wonder who the real "queen" is around here.

that is the problem with this message board.. since it collects the leftover idiots from other boards, sh!t like this happens.

Why idiots you say?

Because I politely replied with critism and *facts* on the truck, and the response I get is "you are a fukking loser and you are jealous".

and the funniest thing is that this comes from someone with absolutely no live axle suspension experience / knowledge, so ALL of your facts come simply from just looking at the outside product and not even caring about the actual mechanics/engineering of it....

as for jealousy - hardly. my truck is just getting started.. once i'm done, i promise you, you'll crap yer pants.

First off you need to include yourself in your description of the people who visit here , because you are just as guilty as the next guy for stirring up sh!t you jaska$$.

You didn`t *politely* do anything , you are giving your opinion (not FACTS) about a truck you have never seen in person.

Just because that Dak is bigger and badder than yours will EVER be , don`t knock it!

BTW...I know it doesn`t rub because I`ve seen it many times and he always wheeled it hard and the fenders never had a mark on them...SOOOOO wake up and face the FACTS spunk x.

haha i wish i was as big as his? funny, i just installed some 38" swamper SXs on my rig...

doesn't rub? I still call BS. Roll it up on a rock/flex ramp and try to turn the tire. Sure you can wheel it and not rub - but you can't take the vehicle anywhere close to the limit.

Look, you want to raise a vehicle sky high and stay level just so you wouldn't roll over? Go ahead. Have fun catching up though..

pathetic.

i'm gonan chime in here with the fact that spawnx's truck is friggin mean looking and i noticed that he has been one of the only 2 people in this post to respond under their appropriate name. simply because there aren;t scared to back up what they have to say. so all of you children just turn off mom and dads computer and go play with your tonka toy trucks.

btw. mines a 00 reg cab on 20's v-6. and hes right this page is jsut about stirring up sht. because people find the need to. mabye, if you knwo the owner, you could talk to him about it and find out his reasoning behind the stuff that spawnx questioned, and get back to him. mabye it'll enlighten him. or you could keep talking sht and just waste more time. notice that you were so busy talkin sht no one bothered to answer dustinthewind's question.

dustinthewind: 3" body will run around $200. get it from 4wheelparts.com or summit. its simple task to do. but about $200. i have 31's on a 4x4 with a 3" body and the tires look small. you can run 33's under it. my tires are on stock rims so their a lil skinny. but 33's will fit. not sure if they'll run though. dont; see why they would. you can fit a 33" tire ion the wheel wells with minor rubbing while turning. with a body it should be fine.................

ok i'm done. time to go back to work.

5 1/2" of lift and when he had 38s they rubbed. so hes got 36s with no problem from what he says. so lets start another yelling contest.

I never called you a loser (think you have a guilty concious there) and I only asked if you were jealous...obviously you are. You probably really drive a 1987 Ford Ranger sitting on a 1/4" body lift with a half dead 4-banger and think its the coolest think in your 1 streetlight town.

I know it don't rub because I looked for just that, I also climbed up under and looked around and it is a well done job. You can claim *facts* all you want from however many states away that you are. I am here where the truck is just like the other guy is so our knowledge of the truck and its setup is a little more credible than yours is.

Grow up and get a life. If all you can do is flame other peoples rides than take your "know everything about absolutely nothing" A$$ over to a Ford forum and have at it.

Truce

I never wanted a pissing contest. I just reposted the pics due to the overwelming request from my original posting last year.

I really did look for rubbing areas in and around the fender wells and did not see any or any repainted spots either.

Either way, its a really nice truck and I just wanted to give others screaming "how do I lift my truck" a view of a truck lifted with more than a 3" body lift.

Peace and Happy 4th
