i wanna put a posi in my truck, its an 87 4wd with the 3.9 auto and 8.25 rear. the gears are stock front and rear. i am goin to be runnin 32x11.5" tires and want to upgraded the front and rear gearing.
what size gears would get me the best traction and still kept my gas milage reasonable? and if i were to put a posi in the rear, would i have to put one up front too?
one more thing, what vehicles would i be able to find these things in. i am trying to save money, and i would rather buy these parts use rather than new.
