You may have trouble going that big on the stock wheels, but I'm sure your tire shop will let you know. On my '95 I have the 2inch body lift and some torsion lift. I am running 31x10.50's on 15x8 wheels and they fit great. I could probably fit a set of 32's but then I might get into some rubbing when the suspension flexes.

If you are looking for a capable off-road setup I'd stick with the 31's. If you are going more for an on-road look then you should be OK woth the 32's, but I'd suggest finding a set of 15x8 wheels. Mine came from a 2000 Durango.

Yes and no. 15x7's will mount the tire narrower, but that makes the tire taller (rubber has to go somewhere, right?) so you may get diameter problems even if you avoid width problems.
I'd be more concerned that the 11.50's wont fit on a 7 inch rim. I've been told by more than one tire shop that they won't mount a tire that is over 2-3 inches wider than the rim. You're looking at 4.5 inches. Even going with an 8 inch rim you're over 3 inches. That's why I stuck with 10.50's for this set of tires.

One of the things that makes Dodges different than the other guys' mass-marketed trucks is that there is always more mystery when you want to do anything that didn't come from the factory. Most Dodge lovers enjoy the extra challenge, so don't just take my advice, go find the truth for yourself. If you have a good relationship with a tire shop, ask them about rim vs. tire width, and ask them to mount a couple of different sizes on your rims and see how they fit on the truck.

we put 33X12.50s on stock 94 dakota rims 6 lug
they work but it rubbs the frame in front and i had to "massage" the front fenders. There is a 2" body lift on it but we are having a hard time finding a suspension lift that is not so expensive. They dont look to bad. It is a 318 auto 4x4 ext cab.

I've got a 94 dak reg cab 4x4. The body lift is either 2 or 3". Torsion bars all the way..1.5"

I cut the back side of the front fenders all the way into the first washer of the body to frame mount.

I run 33x12.50 on 15x8. Rubbing is pretty excessive when turning up steep driveways. How ever, I say fuk it and don't be a pusssy. Who cares if they rub, I got 10" rear axle clearence in back and 13" front axle clearence.

My old 32x11.5 I had no problems with
