Subject: what tires should i get

Message:
i am wanting superswampers and want to get 33x12.50 and i am wanting to get TSL's or LTB's.
anyways what i am wanting to know is can i fit one or the other with 15x10 AE wheels and a 3" bodylift and some help with the torsion bars with little to no trimming. If not what is the biggest i can go height wise and keep the 12.50 TSL's or the 13.50 LTB's.

You could fit either one of them tire with a 3" lift but may have to do a couple turns on the torsion bars for the front tire not to rub. And i would go with the LTB

Neither will fit on a 15x10in rim without trimming. I had a bodylift and removed it. I am running 33x12.5in TSL Radials with no rubbing/no lift.

come on now guys give me some more info on these tires(how good they are, which one wears better, etc.)

My main answer that i want is can i fit 33x12.50 or 33x13.50 on 15x10AE wheels with 3.73 backspacing with out trimming a butt load out of my fender. I am going to put a 3" body lift and turn the torsion bars some. Please help me.

I've got a '98 4X4 with a Rancho 3". I've been running 33's since I put the lift on. Initially, I was running the stock wheels (15X8), but I then went with a set of Weld 15x10's. The Welds have something like 4.75 backspacing (not quite as aggressive, but still stick out of stock body panels). My new tires are Buckshot mudders.

I did have to trim a little bit in a few spots. I had to trim the lower plastic bumper on the very bottom on the front side of each wheel well. It was pretty minimal trimming. I did it with a dremel-type tool. You don't even notice it unless you're looking at it up VERY close. The other place I had to trim was to grind the point at the bottom rear of each front wheel well where the fender bolt goes through the mounting tab that comes from the cab. I used an angle grinder and ground and rounded the flat part that sticks into the wheel-well right up to the head of the fender mounting bolt. sprayed the exposed metal with a black spraybomb, and it's hardly noticable.

I hope this helps. I know your set-up will be slightly different with the body lift and the slightly wider rims, but should be similar enough to give you some ideas. I can take some pics to email you if you need them.

All of this was done on the stock body before I installed the Glassworks fenders and bedsides.
