theyre mb motoring 18x9 with terra grappler 33x13x18. the local shop said my 3" body they are putting on wont do. will try to test fit and may have to add a 2" suspension. theyre also putting on a gibson dual stainless exhaust, chip, filter and shocks. they wouldn't let me buy headers until i heard what the exhauset sounded like. (gotta like the honesty). hopefully ill have pics of my truck by the end of the week. its a 2000 4x4 quad cab, patriot blue.

Well, sounds like someone is pulling your pud.

But anyways, a suspension lift isn't going to help any in the area of 33 clearance, your problem is, your tires will be too wide, and will rub on sharp turns on either your fram or your fender wells.

So really you bought the wrong type of wheels for the size of tire you are going to try to fit up under there, infact you might have to buy spacers to push the wheel and tire out from under the truck to even be able to make tight turns, unless you aren't planning on doing it.

And plus a 2 inch suspension lift, will only give you an extra inch of tire clearance, which really won;t be enought o make a difference, and plus it will make the gap between the top of the tire and fender well bigger, making it look down right ugly really.

Anyways, I would have went with a set of 15x8 steel wheels from American Racing, if you was going to put a body lift on it with a 4x4 truck. Now it's really just going to look like a show truck, and not a off-road performing truck.

Although the wheels are bad looking, but you should have lowered your truck 3 inches instead of raised it.

that 305 HP stands for 305 Hauling Pounds right?

Cause if you couldn't put the body lift on yourself, there isn't any reason for you to be driving a truck, you just need to go find you a little honda civic.

As for the gaining an inch, I would say not likely, but it might be a possibility, cause sometimes pictures do lie, and those wheels could push the tire out from under the fender well.

But anyways dumbass, I was just giving my opinion, not telling you. But anyways, sorry for trying to make sure you don't shell out some money you didn't need too for the sup lift.

But anyways if you live near TN bring your truck down and we'll race, I'll put my lifted truck against yours any day of the week, cause unlike your truck, mine isn't as weak. I've actually put 11G in just the engine alone, and not it's not some new fandangled engine, it's a 426 Hemi.

darious...no one asked what YOU would have done , the guy just was excited about HIS new wheels and tires!!!

If you want to waste 11 g`s in you HEMI and race it ... good for you.

Not everone who has a lifted truck wants to beat the hell out of it off-road . I like lifted trucks and have owned several , but my 02 QC Dakota was bought to haul around my family , not to off-road with but yet it is also lifted with 18X8.5 in MKWs and the same Nittos dd_kota has. It gets many looks and compliments , but most important , it`s what I wanted!

BTW...dd_kota, nice set of wheels and tires you have there , lets see some pictures on the truck!
