hey man..

Nope, with a 2wd, most you can do is 6".... That's possible with a 3" body lift and a 3" suspension lift from Fabtech.. Now I'm not saying you can't fabricate your own kit, but good luck with making a really long spring or anything.. Some people get a total of 8" by adding a 2" coil spacer after the suspension lift (which puts bigger springs on).... but that isn't good for the truck because your upper control arm will bottom out on the stops every time you hit a bump...not good for off-roading, but ok for style. You can look up Quad2NV on this forum and look at his pics of that setup.

I have a 99 2wd Dakota Sport. Right now I have a 3" body and have my 3" suspension kit in but am waiting to get it put on. I will have to stop there until someone can bypass the rack and pinion problems, or can make a lift from the rack and pinion.. but no companies are stepping up because of "no market" (if only they would come look at this board...). Well, I hope I was able to help. If you are curious about the body lift and how it actually looks, go to: http://members.cardomain.com/red99daksport

Dakotas are seriously like the only trucks that body lifts look good on.....body lifts are just plain ugly on chevys and fords....
