if it connects to the frame like a genuin steel brush guard then it won't work. you will need to fab up some brackets to make it fit. that is what im planning on doing anyway.

I have a grill guard on my GenI. I also have a 3in body lift. With my Trailmaster body lift, a front bumper relocation bracket set came with it. My grill guard uses the bumper bolts to connect to the truck. What this means is if you grill guard attaches to the frame itself under the bumper, it probably will not work. If it attackes to the bumper bolts like mine, the body lift kits bumper relocation brackest will do the work for you.
Good Luck.

thanks guys,

mine attaches via brackets using the original bumper bolt locations, four on bottom four on top. so i guess it would just depend on how the relocation brackets are put together. but then i'd have brackets bolted to brackets, not too cool. oh well guess i'll just go with a little more tire for right now

I too have a manik on my Dakota. I just lifted it this past weekend with a Perf. Accessories lift. The brackets that go over the bumber will work fine, but the lower brackets need to have 3 inches cut out and then welded back together.
