Subject: do they make 15x10's for Daks?

i went to Big O to get a quote for some 15x10 inch rims for my 99 Dakota and they said they dont make 15x10's for the 6 on 4.5 inch lug pattern. is this true or do they just not know what the hell they are talking about. they said i can have them custom made but its costs like 40 bucks more per rim. anyways they said that 15x8's would fit fine with a 33x12.5 inch tire. but i would like 15x10's. any help thanks in advance.

I've dealt with those type of retards before. People who have no experience other than what the crappy book they have tells them. Yes they do make several types of tires in 15x10 for the Dakota pattern. American Eagle and Weld have several styles for 15x10s. You can search their sites for info. Also check out American Racing's site. The 33x12.5s should fit fine on the 15x8 rims. The 15x10s look a lot better in my opinion, but some people have fitment problems with them depending on the amount of lift and the offset of the wheel. Also all of the Daks running 15x10s, mine included, have some of the wheel sticking out the side of the wheelwell. This is something to think about depending on how anal the laws are where you're located. Hope some of this info helps.

I have a set of US Wheels 15x10 on my 2000 dak 4.7 liter 4x4 right now. They are very inexpensive because they are steel modular style wheels. They cost about $75 each new. I warn you though. I had 32 inch tires on my truck at stock height and then lifted it 3 inches with hopes of going with 33's. Well would have happened if not for the wheels. With the offset of the rims and them being 2 inches wider than factory it rubbed like crazy even with just 32's.

Hey Bill J.

Do you have any pictures of those 15x10 on and what was the back spacing? Also, were you able to trim to make it work or was it rubbing on the fendors and you had to take them off? Which 33 inch tire did you go with. Seems like different brands like BFG are true 33 and bridge dueller are quite 33s... just trying to figure all this out.

If anyone has any pictures of their 15x10s on I'd really like to get them. I have to buy tires real soon and I'm putting 33s on with 15x10s one way or another and I just can't decide which ones to get. I got the body lift so I'm searching for all the fine details relating to the wheels and tires.

thanks

Does anybody know what the backspacing is on the factory rims?

Just so I know how much difference there is between the factory and anything I look to buy.

Thankyou.
