 Subject: Goodyear MTR's another clearance ??

I've watched this for awhile and have seen mixed reveiws on whether or 32x11.5's will clear without a lift. Does anyone have specific experiance with the Wrangler MTR's in this size on a stock 8" rim on a 2000 style DAK?
It's time to buy tires and I'd like to go up a size if I can.

I can fit 32s on my truck with no problems. I currently have 33x12.5x15 on stock 15x8 rims and all i did was minor plastic trimming

In general from what ive seen posted on here is the 10" wide rims with larger than 31 tires rub a little. But i dont know...

Wait a minute. Those 32's will rub without a lift unless you crank your tortion bars up. You will probably have to trim a little of the bumper valance. Remember, bigger tires don't mean better off-road capabilities as much as wheel travel does. If you try to squeeze big tires under a truck with no lift your just robbing up and down wheel movement. I put 33" MTR's on my truck and they still rubbed the bumper valance with a 3" lift, had to crank the t-bars to fix it.

Thanks for the heads up Gavin. I'll be sure to check everything once I get them mounted up. I have a dremel for a reason! I mainly wanted to go up a size for 2 reasons. Some of my travels get me in some softer sandy spots so I figured spread the weight out a little more and the other is a little more diameter may pick me up a little gas milage since I do a lot of highway travel as well.
