Message:
I've read that the rear disc brakes on an 03 are a different diameter than the 02s and older. Is that true? what size rim do I use AE589 8" or 10"? What's the maximum tire size I can use that won't rub or require cutting with a 3" body lift? Please help!! I've money to spend but no direction to go in!!!!

Well... my `02 came with drums in the back.

I believe `03 was the first year of rear discs...maybe late `02s , but in any case , I`m sure they`re the same size.

15 X 8 max wheel, with 32s max w/no rubbing anywhere. Most are running 33X12.50s with little rubbing and a few have 35 X 12.50s with a lot of trimming of plastic valance up front.

I beleive the '03's require 16" rims to clear the disc brakes in the back. I thought I saw that somewhere.

Never late for a Tee time or wheelin with my buddies! Always ready for both!!!

Oh yea, 16X8 is what I meant to say , I always think of 15s when talking about the 589 wheels.
