I have an 02 dakota with a 3" bodylift, and i find it sitting slightley nose down, i want to remedy the situation by cranking my tortion bars, how high can i crank them without breaking anything, and also do they make blocks that i can put between the leaf springs and the axle for an extra inch or two??

torsion bars can be torqued for about 1-2 inches, i just cranked mine this weekend about halfway and got about an inch of lift out of the front. Steve

crawl under your truck and find where the torsion bar ends (i believe this is on the tranny crossmember) and using a ratchet with the rigth socket (my 96 used a 15/16) either torque the tensioning bolts up if the front is sagging or loosen them if the front is too high. i believe you can put a level on the inside bottom of the door frame to level out your truck, just make sure you are on level ground also.
Hope this helps, Steve

sorry, 2wds do not have torsion bars, you would have to get coil spacers to lift the front.
