i have a 93 2wd ext cab i am taking my truck in to have the 2in Roungh Country lift taken out my front end was making so many noises it was unreal the shop i took it to said it is almost was like thoses are different coil springs beacuse they are so stiff he said the shocks have never moved it put everything out of line the shocks are rubbing against the coil springs and it is messing with my rack and pinion and there are round stops rubing against the coil springs not to mention it wore my tires like a bitch i had the lift in for probably about 8 months but it started making all the noises about a month ago has anyone else dicovered this with the rough country suspension lift

i allready ordered a 2 in body lift from skyjacker with taking my suspension lift out and puting a 2in body lift on think i will be able to run 31's?? i ran 235 75 15's stock

i am not claiming to know everything about a 93' dakota, but it sounds like the lift wasnt totally at fault. The springs rubbing the shocks sounds like they were not installed right. if the pig tails of the springs are not seated correctly they can sit crooked and rub the shocks. As far as the tires wearing, with only a 2inch lift, i would think the alignment was not done correctly. just my thoughts.

i have a 92 2wd ext.cab with the 318. i installed the same lift kit from rough country about 9 months ago.lets say now i know where they got there name! worst mod i ever made!!!installed it myself and it was nothing short off a bitch to do.had same problem with shocks rubbing.already trashed my new monroe sensatracks.can't wait to take them spacers out.
