Im getting ready to install a 3" body lift on my 98 4x4 slt reg. cab dakota, automatic. Will I have to lengthen anything, like the 4 wheel drive gear shift?? or anything for the steering wheel???? and does a body lift kit come with everything i need???

GMB, Depends on what body lift you are getting. I got the Performace Accessory and it worked out great. It came with the stearing extension and yes you will probably have to cut your four will drive shifter and have the 3" extension added to it. I had to with my '99 Club Cab. should be about the same. Good luck...

Anyone need a brand new 3" PER693 body lift kit. In original packaging, never even opened! $160.00 (price is firm at $160!) delivered via UPS Ground to any address in the lower 48 states.
