 Subject: Anyone have a 3" body lift on a 2wd?

I plan to lift my 2wd with a 3" PA body lift. Just ordered it. I need to order tires too, but don't know what will fit after the lift. Anyone have a 2wd with a 3" body lift setup? What sized tires are you able to fit? Thanks, I'm a newbie to the board.

You should be able to get 32's on there, definetly 31's. Don't listen to that other guy. 265/70's will look way too small. Those are only 30" tires.

yeah dont listen to him ..................265 70 16 is 30.9 diameter , 31x15 is depending on manf. 30.9 diameter (lets use bfg) so I don't think they're 30 ....Smart ass , what's a 32 in metric size ??????? 16 "???????

Thanks rivermaniac. The 265/70R16 are indeed 31's. They are the stock 4x4 size tire. I have had them on my 2wd 3 inch body lifted truck and they look good. If you want to try 32's, the size is 265/75R16.

Well, I don't know what to believe from all these posts. Sounds like no one is very sure of anything. Oh well, got my PA kit in and lift will hopefully be on this weekend. I'll let ya know what sized tires I'm able to fit.

I have a 2wd 3" body lift on my 2002. I have 32's on there and NO rubbing anywhere. Just so ya know.

Hi Harmon, what body style is your 2002 and what size exactly are your 32's and what rims are you using. I appreciate the help on this forum. It's kind of tough to find out your new tires don't fit after you've bought them. Thanks again.
