 Subject: new tires and lift

I just finished repainting my 92 LE dodge dakota. A friend wants to give me a set of 17" rims with larger tires.................he says they will fit. How much lift will I need for 33's". I want to do more than drive in a straight line.

Hmm..at LEAST a 3" body lift,or the 2" body lift and Trailmaster 4" lift.Are you sure the wheels have the right bolt pattern and BACKSPACING?
