Subject: popping noise in steering colum?
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 03 cc 4.7 4x4, and i hear this popping noise coming from the steering colum. Sometimes it feels like something is loose in there. I had an 01 cc 4.7 same set up and it used to do it too. Just wondering if anybody know what that is. I'd like to get taken care of before i lift. I got a Ts 6.5" lift sitten at home.

ckeck the steering shaft bolts that hold together the column to the shaft. sometimes that shaft bolt gets loose and makes those popping noises.
