 Subject: 16" to 15" wheels

Have an 03' dak 4X4 QC with the 16X8 factory wheels. Want to switch to after market American Eagles but the only thing I can find in our factory bolt configuration is 15X8. My local tire guy said the 15's may not clear the calipers. Does anyone know whether it will work or not? Thanks... Tad

Check out this link AE 149 and look for the following numbers 1496-7864 for chrome & 1499-7864 for polished. Those should be 16x8 - 6 on 4.5 wheels. I think they also had the 146s in that size too. I got mine from a guy in PA ... if you want I can try to find his name for you. His prices were great and he also had blemished wheels too for super cheap ... most you had a hard time finding the blemish. Let me know.

Tracy, would be great if you could check with the guy for me. I was looking at the AE site also, and called the AE distributor in my area. He said there was only one wheel in the entire AE system in 149 in my size, what a bummer. If your guy has a set, it would be awesome. Let me know what you find. Thanks. Tad
