hey kyle i called them a few days ago and these guys are all for doing what ever you can dream up for a dak.

i've been talking to Tyler from there, he told me that they make two different lift kits but they need to be installed by a fab shop of some sort if your just ordering the kit and not geting it installed there. the two kits are the 13" that can be purchase for $3600 uninstalled (which contains tube upper, boxed lower arms, a set of 10" King coilover racing shocks, and the proper steering components) or it can be purchase for $4700 installed with all of the above but you'll also get new brake lines and the kit instaled. or if the 13" of new wheel travel isn't enough they have a 16" kit and it can be purchase for $4300 uninstalled (which contains boxed upper, boxed lower arms, and modified spindle, a set of 10" King coilover racing shocks, and the proper steering components) or it can be purchase for $5800 installed with all of the above but you'll also get new brake lines and the kit installed. these kits can be made to your liking. if you want the new track width to 3" wider than stock they'll do it or if you want it 6" wider they'll do it. i asked about the tire size that can be used with these kits and Tyler told me that they should run with a 33" tire. the 16" could run a 35", but it not reconmended to do so. NOTE: these are coilover kits these are not your cheezy lift kit that you slap on in a weekend in your drive way. Tyler and Mike (the tech guy there and the guy that should respond to your email Kyle) said that these kits should go on all daks without to many mods from the different year models. right now ORC is working on a 3 link rear suspension setup for the dak. i asked Mike about a bolt in or a preformed weld in roll cage for us dak owners, and he responded by saying "that's good idea, and that's the route that we here at ORC wants to go. we're trying to get it to where that you buy the kits from us and get them installed at a local fab shop or a 4x4 shop instead of us doing all of it here at our shop. this way we can do more designing and fabing, instead of spending time installing a kit." so it looks like we need to keep a eye on these guys. they're all for making stuff for the dakota.

i hope this answers ya's questions, but if this dosen't then just ask and i'll try to get the answers for ya.

BTW Kyle i'm still waiting on a email from mike that i was suspose to get like almost a week ago, but i hope he emails you back.

sorry to tell you this kid, but unless you have a 4x4 for that year model so you can do a solid axle swap (SAS). you can morer or less keep dreaming. as far as you gas mileage, you stuff 35" say bye bye to having 20 mpg. oh, and plan on spending some "dough" for any custom mods that your going to do with your truck. hell i'm saving up for the 16" kit that i was talking about in my earlier post.

josh

you love kids and their dreams. haha

what about a 4x4 lift kit. i herd about a torsion bar eliminator
kit that uses king coil overs with shock hoops up front. i don't
really care about the lift i just want the performance of the
coilovers. i have a 2003 dakota 4 door with the 4.7 v8.
