You'd probably have to go with the 31's because i have a 2wd w/ 3in. lift and the 31's fit nice. I also needed a little trimming done and they rub a little even then.

31" look good, you will have to trim a little for 32"s. Mine is a '00 2WD and I am running 31s. I think they look good. Of course I have 15" rims. If you got 15" rims you might be good with the 32s.

the outer diameter of your wheel has no bearing on the the max size tire you can run. a 31" is still 31" on a 16" or 15" wheel. the stock 15" wheel and the stock 16" wheel have the same overall dimentions(BS and offset), accept for the diameter.

my advice, buy a 4X4. hehehehehe j/k

First of all to fit 32's on a 2wd you need a 3in body lift and a 2 in suspension lift to not trim.

To answer river's question, metric is not as nice as standard mesurements. It is based on width. I will explain and give you equations to find out the different numbers. A standard measurement example would be 32x11.5x15 which means 32 inch tall tire, 11.5 inch wide, and a 15 inch whole in the middle for a 15 inch wheel. On the otherhand a metric measurement example is 255/55/15. This means that the tire is 255 millimeters wide. The next number is tricky. If you multiply the first number by this percent you get the hieght away from the wheel. For example 255 multiplied by 0.55, which gives you the height of just the sidewall. To get the hieght of the overall tire you must multiply it by 2 to get both sidewalls, change it to standard measurement and add the last number. If you ask me this is the most idiotic way of measuring a tire, but what are you going to do. I'll give you some equations to go back and forth.

Standard to Metric

A x B x C to D/E/C

D=(B/0.3937)*10 E=((A-C)*100)/(2*B)

C is the same for both

Metric to Standard

A/B/C to D x E x C

E=(A/10)*0.3937 D=((E*B*0.01)*2)+C

I hope this helps and I know that this is the equations becuase I have them saved in excel and have used them against tire specs. Also just because a tire is a 32 doesnt mean that it is acutally 32 inches high. Again another flaw in tire specs but oh well.

Post with any questions.

70 is really a 31 and 75 is almost a 33

285 is 11.6" wide(respectively). so a 285/75 is 32.9/11.6
