Quitter?!?! hey bud, your the one who up and LEFT!! he he.. just kidding dan. I'm crunched for money man, that and I really dont want to have to buy new rims with the proper offset to throw that lift on. I didnt think about that when I bought the arms from ya.
Ah well... is there ANY CHANCE they might send you back this way any time soon?
Hows the truck holding up?

concidering they were on a truck that was rebuilt from a major accident, people might think that they are too high in price. i want to know what else is needed in order to install. i dont know much about how things work, so you have to mention everything. i want my stock rims to fit because i dont have the money to buy different ones.

thanks

I might be interested if someone can help me with
this question- how different are the control arms
from a Gen 3 and a Gen 2 Dak?

I have a 93 and was thinking that perhaps they are
only slightly different and one could modify the
Fabtech components slightly to

do i really need rims with that particular offset? let me see a pic anyway. do i get rubber with the rims?

hey dweish... did you bend the arms?

since i have the v6, and the lift was for a v8, the springs wont fit anyway, right? also, is the suspension ready for instalation, or is there something else i need?

thanks

yes you need to change your rims cause the oem will hit the brake lines and or the upper balljoint , and it's not offset it's backspacing .......At lesat that's what I was told .....................

nope, just bent the frame mounts, arms are 100% good, we even used them to make the jigg for the new arms. what happend was the front alignment adjusters on the top got maxed out to the back, and the lower control arm fram mounts bent a little. nothing a body shop couldn't straiten out.

Ok, if you've ever seen the way these Arms are built, you'll know and agree that they are virtually INDESTRUCTABLE. They have some major beef to them. I bought the arms from DWeishaar in such a hurry that I too didnt think about the wheel backspacing thats needed to run them.
For those of you asking about the backspacing, do a search on the boards and you could learn boat loads about alot. rivermaniac was right, you need rims with a certain backspacing for them to work with these arms. I bought new rims about 8 months ago and dont want to go thru the hassle of changing rims to achive propper backspacing, just to get me another 1" of lift.
So yes the arms are for sale and I will not take less than $260.00 for them, you cover shipping and handling.
thanks..

Wheel bearings are really easy to replace and pretty cheap too. Just be sure to use the proper tools and the whole things should take a couple of hours.
