Chatted briefly with Rancho and it looks like the 2002 Ram 1500 will see a lift before the 2000-2001 Daks/Durangos. Their thinking is that if they can hold up a Ram, they can do a Dakota. Ram kit may be out April/May 2002, and Dak a few months after.

Purely hear-say of course.

Sounds a little hard to believe since the 1500's just switched to IFS this year. To redesign, prototype, test, and manufacture brand new kits by April/May 2002 is pretty quick -- even if they had been doing R&D all year (not likely though). Rancho's been "working" on the Dakotas for 2+ years and still nothing -- and our only issue seems to be the R&P.

Its kinda weird to think that a suspension company is having this much difficulty coming up with a lift for the Dakota. I haven't gotten to the suspension term in school yet so Im not really familiar with the complexity of the IFS, but you would think they could get something together if they've been doin R&D for atleast a year. They may think the Ram may have more buyers wanting to lift it. I have no freakin idea though.

Guys, there's a lift out for the Tundra. What the heck?! Oh yeah, there's a lift for absolutely everything else but our babies.
