I was stationed at Ft. Hood from 1998 to 2001 and now its Ft. Livingroom, Illinois. I would have reenlisted if I hadn't got into a pissing contest with Seargent Major over PLDC. He said he wasn't going to send me until I reenlisted and I said I was going to reenlist until he sent me, and here I am...lol

I used to pass right by Ft. Leonardwood all the time when I would drive up here on leave. Never wanted to become a permanent resident though, if you know what I mean. :)

I think you mean Leavenworth as far as the permanent resident thing goes, but its pretty close being here. Being a drill sergeant is fun though, just long hours and not alot of family time. Its a very rewarding job, there aren't many jobs out there that allow you to see the results happening right before your eyes, good or bad.
