Hello, and thanks for reading.
I was wondering if anyone has heard of it being possible to put, say a 3-4inch suspension lift on the r/t? If so who makes it and where could i check it out? Thanks again

Hmmm ... I've never heard of anyone lifting an R/T. I wouldn't do it.

i dont know if the fabtech lift will fit the R/T but I'm sure you could find a normal 2wd dakota to trade suspension components and then you'd be set

but i wouldn't do it either

Well, i have a reason for this. I want to still do some offroading but also be able to spank silly most of the cars on the street. And well just cus you guys wouldnt do it does that make it a bad idea? I dont think so, but thats just me.

Thats funny, I was just thinking of lifting an R/T the other day. Not that I have one, but it was a thought. Since you would be changing the suspension, the truck would be the same as a Sport/SLT with the 5.9 but with the "R/T" stickers. But I'm sure the Fabtech kit would work!

I was thinking about lifting an R/T too. And I dont see why it wouldn't work. The only difference is the sway bars and that the body spacers are removed on an R/T (and maybe a different leaf spring... if theres any more differences, correct me. :)) So, if you put the spacers (or a body lift) back on, you would have the same clearance of a stock 2WD, and the V8 Fabtech kit should work.

I dont know much about R/T's, so I may be completely wrong... but it sounds good!
