 Subject: Gen II body Lift

I have a 92 4x4 CC 318 dak. And my question is with a 3" body lift can you fit 33X10.50's under it? Or what is the biggest tire size you can put under it with the body lift? I understand that you would more than likely have to crank up the torsion bars.

It all depends on what rim you put them on....cause i have the performance accecories 2" adn i figured i could get 32's and i put a helper spring in the rear and cranked the torsions all the way and my truck barely clears 31 bfg mud terrains..and they still rub at 3/4 turn if i hit a bump or something....adn where did you find a p/a 3" for a gen2 i could only ever find a 2" and the trailmaster makes a 3" but everyone said trailmasters wasnt as good

i have a 3" body L. and i could only fit 31" they rub when i off road. even more now that i have a whinch on the front ( the weight). so 33" could be pushing it.

I dont understand how some of you guyz put in body lifts to get 31's on? I have a 92 eith no lift, just some torsion bar cranking and have 31's on.....Only time it rubs is when i have the wheels cranked and hit a bump. I also have flares and mud flaps on? were some higher then others?

i could have barely cleared 31s on mine witht he tbars cranked, but i took off the stock rims and got some 3.5" backspacings (AR-39s) instead of stock 5.5" and i have to go with the 235s now, next set of tires im going to MAKE 30s fit

THe reason we're only getting 31's is because we have offset rims thats why my 31's are hitting the lower part of my flares even with a 2" body and torsion bars maxed .but my torsions are also really weak and they shouldnt rub when i get them replaced

I still have my stock rims, whatever the backspacing is on them.....I just oredered a 2" lift yesterday. Once my new tires wear down im gunna try 32's on it. Hopefully they will fit.
