Can I get 305/70/16's under a 3" PA body lift? I'd rather not have to do alot of trimming.

I've been looking at Goodyear ATS's and BFG AT's. The 305 Goodyears are way cheaper and are a smidge taller then the 285/75/16 BFG's (even better would be the 295/75/16's). I don't put many miles on my truck either.

I think that 97_blk_dak has that size on his truck with a 3" body lift. Check out another thread on here that says "Finally have pics!" (or something like that). Although, he does have aftermarket wheels with 3.25 b/s...so I'm not sure.

Taking it from your name, gps_jetskier, what kind of jetski do you ride? Where do you usually ride at? I have a Sea-Doo GTX DI, love it, it's awesome, I want to buy another for the lady to ride...

I had an newer style XP. Sold it here a little while back. I also had a jetboat and soon after ended up selling that too. I use to mount my Garmin GPSIII+ on the jetski and go for long trips here in Michigan, but we bought property up north and do the camping thing these days. Speaking of which...Here's a good one. I pulled a 31' Trail lite with the 01 Dak quad. Everyone online said it couldn't be done, but actually with a little common sense (55mph and under) and the right setup it's fairly easy. I do pull it empty though...and all the flat land helps too. I took pictures for fun...I should figure out how to post them.

I have 33x12.50x15 BFG AT's on mine and only had to trim because of the low backspacing of my wheels which caused rubbing on the outside fender wells. 4wDakota has 33" BFG AT's on his stock wheels and I believe he rubs a little on the frame.

Yes 5.5" stock backspacing rubs on the frame. Anything less tham 3" rubs on the fender. An 8" rim with 4.5-5" backspacing is ideal but it's hard to find them with our bolt pattern.

So 33's on stock 16" x 8" rims will work, but it will rub on the frame slightly. Are there steering stops on these trucks. I've only been under it a couple times and never noticed. Would wheel spacers help...errr...maybe not. Thanks guys

You can go with 285/75-16's(33x11.50's) on stock rims with no rubbing at all, that's what i run in the winter time. I run American Racing 16x8 Terons(4.75 Backspacing) with 305/70-16 Xterrains in the summer with no rubbing or trimming required after torsion bars are cranked up some.

I believe all of the models made by AR for our Daks our 4.75 backspacing.

Flowmaster cat back w/15 inch chrome tip, Volant Intake, Poweraid TB Spacer, Splitfire Plugs, full synthetic fluids
3 inch body/1.5 inch Block Lift, 305 70-16 X-Terrains on AR Terons, Pro Comp ES9000's
Grizzly double/single rollbar with (6) Hella's, Manik Nerfs, Line-X, Hard Work & $$$$$$$$$$
