I have the same setup but with 33" tires and well, performance goes down slightly, and gas mileage slightly (if anything), I really don't know the effect of just tires (put the lift and tires on at the same time). The biggest difference is on the highway, I can't hold a hill to save my life. I am usually down shifting by about 2/3 the way up the hill if it is a good incline. It does help though that you have a manual because you can shift it when you want to get that better performance. I did a lot of highway driving this summer, but it wasn't too bad, you can still drive a decent speeds on the highway. I also have to use 4 lo a light when going up hills offroading, it doesn't like the slow speeds and steep inclines. Oh well, it still looks great and I can deal with those slight differences.

By the way, If I was you and could afford the 33's, and can fit the 33's then get the 33's. You will always kick yourself for not going as high as you can go.

Don't know how much difference a 10.5 would make, but I am sure it would help some. I just like the looks of the wider tire, makes it look more aggressive. The 10.5 will help on turning though.

BFG MT's are pretty good tires, I have heard nothing but good news about them.

By the way what are you planning on doing? (body lift, suspension lift, do you go muddin, or do you rock crawl, or combo, how much highway driving do you do?) These are all big questions that can very the type of tire and size.

hi papa, i have a 3" suspension lift. i don't do any rock
crawling, but i off road (mud, gravel, snow, forest
floor, etc.) during hunting season, and just for fun too.
here in alberta canada, the mud is like gumbo. very
sticky!!! if you walk in it, it piles up on your boots
instantly, and sticks there. so all terrain tires are out of
the question. i do do mostly pavement driving. i
currently have Hankook T24's (about 3 years old) and
they are great i have them studded, and have had no
problems in winter.i would like a mud tire that can be
studded, and comes in 32" pretty tall order! thanx for
the input!!
