I'm in the same boat as you. We're the cheapskates. I just cant justify the extra money for the fabtech 3". I've got too many other things going on. I mean that extra cash could buy so many other things. I'm not talking about kids or family either because I'm young and don't have em. Also I think that the 3.25 back spacing sticks the tires a little out too far. I already have the body lift and I'm gonna add either the Doesch +2" coils or the daystar RAM 1500 2WD 2" spacer. I like Doesch because their engine specific and that might make a height difference. The Daystar 2" gives 2.5"-3" of lift. Maybe because the Ram weighs more or some design difference. But the 2" Daystar is pushing your luck with alignment, upward suspension travel, and parts like ball joints. But screw it I'm about to go for the Daystar 2", Rims with 4.5 back spacing, and some 285/75/16's. But no one has put that combo together. The guys posting here with the 2" daystar dont have 33's and body lift yet. I wish someone else would do it first.

the fabtech kit is 600 bones , and if you lift your stock a arm 2 to 3 inches you'll still need the rims cause your rim is going to be way to close to the balljoints and brake lines .......
