4wDakota ...

We have a lift manufacturer ... true ... but I think some of us are still waiting for the other "big guys" to cater to our needs. Rancho, Superlift, Trailmaster, and others shouldn't be forgotten about just cuz Truckin' Suspension developed something first.

Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they'd offer free installation for 2 days and then yank the offer. I was fully tempted to experiment and give them the benefit of the doubt ... but not so much when they yanked the offer that caught my eye.

That was my point blizzard, people are posting not reading old threads. I know it would be good to have some competition in the lift market. I'm just so tired of the new threads "who makes a lift for my truck" and "Can you put a bodylift on a dakota?" duh... read the other posts! I think its mostly new guys who first see this page and immediatly post a question before taking the time to read old posts.
I was just seeing more of it the other day and something in the back of my neck snapped and I started banging my head on the keyboard ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Anyway back to normal......mommy where's the prozac?

But.....(defending myself for posting before reading) unless it's obvious (which the lift thing ought to be) sometimes it's hard to sift thru all the BS, stupid pictures (hehe), etc. to find what you want. Plus, sometimes it's outdated info. Usually it's easier to ask a pointed question, get it to the top of the list and have the nice, caring, knowledgable individuals like yourselves answer it.

Hey u guys, come on, some of us new guys just have questions we need answered, give us a break. Anyways, does anyone have any idea what it usually costs just for the installation of a suspension lift? I got a 2002 Daokta 4X4 with the 3.9L and 3.55 gears, will the engine be able to run 33's, or will it crap out like mad?

If you have a quick question about stuff.. Call your local off-road shop. That's the easiest & fastest way to finding out. +Install costs are going to vary.. But figure around $100 a hour for suspension lifts. I know it seams high.. but call & ask.

Sorry that I haven't been letting everyone know how the lift is doing but the alignment problem still hasn't been fixed I am supposed to talk to the guy that did the lift tommorow. He was gone for the day when i called today. So I have to see what he says. My truck may be going out to Arizona next week so they can fix it. If its something they have to do. Hopefully I will be able to do it or a local shop. Shot me an email if you have any questions. I will try to get back to you as sone as possible.

Does anybody know what size tires are on that lifted Dak? They look like 35x12.50 R16, but does anybody know for sure? The more I look at it, the more I'm drifting towards the 6.5" lift! Sexy ain't she. ;)

Damn, hope they are not shipping the lifts with parts that are causing an alignment problem. My worst fears have came true on this lift, easy to make lift but hard to engineer parts to exacting factory specs in such a short time:(
