Not in mine. Maybe the dreaded dealer may have an answer. If its under warranty have them check it out.

Hey, I had symptoms like that once. I doubt it would be the same thing for you because you have a new dakota. I have an '89 dak w/ 3.9L & auto transmission. I had the same problems for a month or so this year, when later my truck wouldnt start right. We found that the starter motor was missing a bolt on the top and had a bent, loose one on the bottom. This happened suddenly. While we were down there fixing it, We noticed than several bolts on the transmission was extremely loose connecting it to the engine, and a one bolt completely missing. It was very strange, but after we tightened the remaining bolts, the truck ran with absolutely no vibrations at certain speeds. For me, it happened from 45-55mph, then smoothed nicely out above 65mph. This only happened in overdrive, too. It didnt happen at the same RPM at different speeds.
I doubt that it would be the same for your truck. It could be your alignment. I think that the seller of our truck didnt know what they were doing to that poor dak. Dont worry, its in good hands now. Hope I could be of some help.

My 91 Dakota shakes a little around 45 mph. The shaking is from the torque converter lockup. My tranny guy says it is not a serious problem.
