hey all-
i have a 88 dakota that i swaped a 318 into with schumaker's kit. this is connected to a 5sp that has a new (like 2000 miles) clutch/pressure plate. the motor is great, just put it in a month ago. runs like a top and no smoke/knock. it was out of a dart, and now sports an edelbrock alum intake (streetmaster) and edelbrock 4bbl carb. exhaust is handled by dual flowmasters. the truck is a single cab, short bed 2wd. low optioned truck from the factory (was a 4 banger). fact manual steering, but power brakes. installed a HD v6 radiator and it has never gotten hot on me once. this would make a killer drag truck (only 2900 lbs!)with the right tranny/rear combo. the drive line has a vibration that occurs at a certain mph (~42mph), NOT engine speed. i havnt had the time to track it down, but its prob a u-joint from what it feels. but it is very driveable- i do so almost daily. just came back from a 200 mile trip without a hitch. truck could use an alignment, but it isnt way off. i think thats about it... email me with questions or for pictures :) ok thanks guys/gals!
$1200

If its at a particular speed, Im thinking more along the lines of the driveshaft angles not being correct.... they need to be equal and opposite each other.
