If onewas to buy an Intake system and a exhuast, would you have to disconnect the battery for a frew seconds in order for the pcm to reset? Ive heard u have to in order to get the correct performance out of those mods... or is it just jumbo and reseting the pcm doesnt matter?

It really doesn't matter. One way or another the pcm will adjust the long and short term fuel trims to your mods. It just might take a little longer if the battery isn't disconnected.
