 Subject: Slide a Links and lowering blocks?

I have a R/T with slide a links. I want to drop the truck but i dont want any issues because of the slide a links. Like tagging the mounts on speed bumps and so forth. I will also be racing this truck hard and dont want the blocks to mess up anything.
What are some comments on blocks im just going a 2/3 drop.

Go with a set of lowered leafs instead on the blocks if your gonna race. I've heard horror stories about blocks kicking out. I've got the slide-o-links and 4 inch lowered leafs on my 91, works great.
