I just finnished installing my fabtec helper springs in the rear, and cranking my torsion bars up in the front. I was only able to go about 1.25'' in the front, I was really hoping to get 1.75 - 2'' in the front to level it out.
Since there is adjustment up and down via the torsion bar, could i crank the bar down, then rotate the torsion bar clockwise (as if i were tightening the adjuster bolt) so it would basically add more adjustemnt up. Does that make any sense? It's kinda hard to explain.
The end of the torsion bar is octagon shaped, and the bracket is the same, so i would only have to rotate it 1/8th of a turn. Is this even possible? Sorry for the lack of discription, hope somebody can deciper my thoughts...

Never tried repositioning the bar, but I've heard people claim they got some more lift that way. Not sure if they jacked up the front end while they re-indexed it or what. I got 1 3/4" lift when I cranked mine up.

There must be something that can be done, because some people are able to get 2 full inches while others are only able to get 1.25". Also my drivers side is maxed out while the passenger side still has a tad bit of adjustment left. maybe i'll go talk to the guys down at the dodge dealership, maybe they could help me out. Thanks for reply.

It may also depend on what kind of cab you have. I have an RC, someone with a heavier quad cab will likely see less lift, they use the same bars.

I have the club cab, so rite in the middle. I don't think that the club cab would weigh enough to lower it .75". I could see that maybe the quad cab would add a little more weight, then again it's centered more so the weight would be dispersed over the rear too.
thanks .

THERE ARE AVAILABLE TORSION BARS UP TO 1.00"
AND THE TANK-LIKE FEEL WILL OVERCOME THAT FRONT-END DIVE ON CORNERS WITH A 3/4" SWAYBAR. WHEN YOU
STAND ON THE BUMPER WITH A FRIEND IT DROPS ABOUT 3/4".
