Message:
You know the old roots blowers, the brilliant shine of the scoop sitting 3" above the hood.
I've been looking for one that would go on a 4.7L Dakota, probably have to convert to carborated, but needs parts either way, anyone else attempted this, or at least know of some place to get parts.

I'm sure someone thinks this isn't practicle, but
it would be pretty cool.

Roots blowers don't work as well as twin screws or centrifugals. Poor thermal efficiency.

2000 4.7 CC auto, clear corners, Spintech true duals, Kenne Bell s/c, Aquamist water injection.

NOTHING could look as cool as a blower sticking through the hood and the big bug catcher on top. Not even the shaker hood (which is still pretty damn cool). PLEASE let us know if you find something like this. Ideal would be a modern blower in a old roots style housing so you get the best of all worlds (Looks, durability and performance).
