Anybody still using one of these on a 2001, 4.7?

Over two years ago, I expertly installed one in my ashtray, completely hidden. I went to plug my phone in the ahstray, instead of using my 12DC power 0utlet in the dash. I decided to switch it on, and WOW.

Now, don't get me wrong here. Let's look at what really happens, in short, it ritchens the mixture, and maybe a slight timing advance-slight.

Now if it's humid, and low pressure outside, the engine can't really benefit much from the increased mixture, and not much really happens.

But today, the pressure was high!, the temperature cool, and LOW humidity, for Houston anyway. It could benefit from a richer mixture alot in these conditions. Especaiily when the sensors read a little more air going thru a ported TB, with a true CAI, no belt clutch fan, etc. All these mods were years ago as well.

So, with it on, my usual 2nd gear scratch was much more intense and full, same street, dry pavement, etc. I was using this as a semi-objective comparison. And yes, it felt alot stronger thruout the band. I installed it years ago, and almost always leave it turned off! When I sold the duplicate one that Bernd sent me by mistake, it was free for me. So it's not a thing about my wallet being lighter, and it was years ago. It's just great conditions now to maximize what it's supposed to do right now!

I'd like to hear if ahyone else it still using one, hell mines been off for over a year.

01, Quad, 4.7, 5spd(manual), 3.55LSD, tire and handling, trailer towing w/HD service, SLT, etc...
HO cams and intake, ported 68mm TB, True CAI homebrew, NO belt clutch/fan, 3923's, IAT adjuster(it's switched on for now) OBjectively, in these conditions, with my other pseudo mods, it's making around XXX more hp, in these conditions.

I downloaded some instructions on how to make one and was thinking about it. I was kindof wondering the same thing.
If I get some time in the next week I will put one together and see what happens.
