Hyunday needs to come on this board or any dakota boards and really get a idea of what theire asking. Personally I like hyunday. they were the but of many jokes when they first started importing here but now they are actually making some decent cars. My friend's mom has worked for hyunday since i was in HS.
Hyunday should go to Mazda or Ford or Chevy or anyone else besides Dodge.

The Korean car maker is spelled "Hyundai".
DaimlerChrysler AG of Stuttgart, Germany, owner of the Chrysler Group and parent company of Dodge, owns a 10.5% stake in Hyundai and a 37% stake in Mitsubishi.
Ford Motor Company of Dearborn, MI has a 33% stake in Mazda.
It's doubtful that DC will go to Ford or Chevy to buy pickup trucks now or any time in the near future.
The Mitsubishi pick up will be built on the same line as the 05 Dakota and will share frame and mechanicals with the Dodge but have different sheet metal. Kind of the same deal as the Ford Ranger and Mazda B2200.

Why should they go to Ford or Chevy, Rob ? Don't you think many owners of those domestic brands will feel the same as you ?

now hold on there .... I have owned many fords in FACT: used to be a strictly ford guy and I admit no ford I have ever owned has sparked the excitement that my dakota has but in all fairness Not 1 ford I have owned has ever had any real problems that were not of my own making .. I have owned an 89 pu w/302 a 86 ranger w/ 2.3 a 91 ford escort GT w 1.8 < best car I have ever owned seriously > 94 mercury tracer <1.9> gutless gas milage getter 98 ford escort sport w/ 2.0 oh and a 90 escort pony < way gutless but absolute riot to bunny hop it > like I said ford guy to the core but got offered a dak said wtf now love it and cant picture my driveway without one in it :) now I have had excellent luck with all my ford but this dodge is 1 damn fun truck to drive but by no means are fords crap .... course thats frommy expierence and its also my opinion :) although I used to talk down dodge badly very badly .. I know I know I was young dumb and immature :) but I have seen the error in my ways :)

well let me get out some crayons and big piece of paper for you ... look its like this everyone thinks since they own a dodge they are the best you all talk down on other manufacturers as far as flamming chevy ok fine but ford has served me very well as I am sure my new dodge will but have pride in your dodge dont sit here and say everyone else sucks because that would make it out like they are the only good truck ... so where is the pride in that ?saying you got the only good truck in production changes it from pride to commen sense ... I love my dodge I really do heck I can barley get the keys from the wife but that no way means that it is 1 billion times better than anything else ...... so again theres my opinion :)
