The truck is more responsive in the low end below 2500rpm's. I was told the flash would help b/c I have an M1 intake in addition to headers, exhaust, and a KN cold air. My friend told me the computer has to learn things like trottle postition, driving habits, shift points, etc add should take betwwen 50 and 300 miles to re-learn the program. I really haven't had a chance to jump on it yet and the track is closed until the spring.

There isn't anything to relearn. By getting the pcm flashed with a new program everything thing is programmed in so it doesn't have to learn. Only time the pcm has to relearn things is when you do other mods like exhaust, 1.7 roller rockers, TB, M1. Things like that have nothing to do with the pcm so the pcm then has to learn them. It's hard to explain but I hope this helps.

R/T I guess I understand. DId you have a flash done? Maybe if a get a bigger throttle body I'm still running the stock one. There is a definate differance to the truck. I guess the money was spent wisely rather than getting a programmer?

Which dealership do you go too mine was pretty cool. They saw the M-1, intake and exhaust and just honored everthing. Maybe you should try other dealerships?

You did the right thing by getting the B&G. Don't listen to these other guys. It is hands down the best option we have for the 01 and newer R/Ts.

If you take the truck in for work just tell them DO NOT TOUCH THE PCM. Or you can label it DO NOT TOUCH. Since your guys are cool with the mods just tell them what you got and not to overwrite it.
