Yea, I saw that I typed 318 when I ment 360, but what I was saying still holds true. The magnum blocks are thin walled castings, you are going to be hard pressed to find a 360 that is safe at .040 over. Most of these blocks the limit is .030 over. I know .040 over is nothing on many of the older la motors and the rb motors, but its a different story with the mags. I'm not saying it cant be done, just that it isnt safe on many blocks. You shouldnt have to build up the journals to 360 size, i beleive there is a 3.31 in crank available in the aftermarket to fit the 360 journal size.
