Which options are worth the money on a new R/T?

Under rail Bedliner?
Engine Block Heater?
4-wheel antilock brakes?
Cooling Maximum Engine Package?
Floor Mats?
Heavy Duty Service Group?
Power heated Mirrors?
Power Overhead Convenience Group?
8 speaker sound system?
Security System?

Thanks for your help.

definately get the 4 disc brakes w/ anti-lock. Much better stopping power than the disc/drums setup
I have the infinity eight speakers, well most aftermarket systems are probably cheaper, but I do like the sound quality
I also have the heavy duty group and cooling max, I really don't see a major difference.
For a bedliner, aftermarket is much cheaper
I would recommend the heated mirrors if you live in a area that gets cold and night and condesation build up easily, i opt out of that and I regret it sometimes
Floormats are really nice touch, I got them free!!
Engine block heater, well only if your living in areas that snow
I have a passive alarm I think it is the clifford IV, don't quote me on that, but does give you discount on the insurance
Try to bargain for some of the stuff for free, I also got a fiberglass tonn. for the bed for free and also with a $4000 off the sticker price. Dealers are able to give up to 5000 off sticker and still make a good profit.

I don't believe the 4 wheel anti lock brake option includes 4 wheel discs. It is the same front discs rear drum setup but instead of the standard rear only antilock it includes front as well. Options will add to resale but not as much as their initial purchase price. They will depreciate at a much faster rate then the overall truck until they basically add nothing to the resale about 8 years down the road. This doesn't count the major things like V-8 and automatic which will always add to value but they are not a choice on the R/T. A/C is probably the only option the R/T needs to be resellable in all markets but even with out A/C the hit to resale would never be as much as the $800 it costs new. I ordered my R/T with A/C, mats (only $27), rear slider (much more to add later then the $105 it costs), and max cooling ($110 for a little transmission insurance). Total cost for the RC R/T will be $18,047 with above options.

As for the engine block heater it is a waste of money. I live in Canada and have a 5.9 and in
-30 C which is damm cold it started no problem with 10w30 castrol syntec. you wont need it. But i think its good for getting heat in the car faster and better engine life so if you want to plug it in go ahead no problem but as far as needing it to start. Dont need it at all never will.

Those engine block factory heaters actually have a pretty high current draw. It could actually be noticable in you electric bill if you are energy wary. The better heater is one like the Wolverine which adhears to the iol pan and heats the oil from the pan up instead of truing to heat the water from the block down. If you are trying to reduce wear not just make the heater work quicker on a cold motor, the oil heaters are better. My Dakota will get the heated garage in Montana, along with a minivan. The heated 36'x24' garage/ shop was why I bought this house. The lighting, windows, tape/texture, and paint are nicer in the garage then the rest of the house too. Once my Dakota comes in maybe I'll just move out into the garage.
