What is up with all the rice jokes? I have seen a few video clips floating around the internet that shows supras beating vettes!!! Anyways, everyone knows that to have a fast car/truck, you have to put money into it. The more money you put into it the better your chances at the quatermile. Now heres the new craze these days...Drifting. With drifting, just because you have the most money put into your car, it doesn't necessarily mean you will win. If anyone doesn't know what drifting is then search for it on the internet!!! Sure you might smoke the Hondas, Toyotas, and the Nissans on the quatermile. But go head to head on a drift track and good luck!!!

Got the new VW Golf R32 all wheel drive that was modified by HPA.
0-60: 3.1 sec.
1/4 mile: 11.4 sec. @ 121
top speed: 202 mph
I have respect for those numbers, foreign or not.

Yeah but I bet that VW doesnt have a billion gay stickers and wings and body kits on it with glowing lights and crap all over it. thats what they mean when they say rice. A 600 HP Supra is not rice unless it has the above mentioned crap on it. a Vette or camaro can be rice also if it has the stuff I mentioned.
I still dont get why anyone would take a perfectly good riding and handling vehicle like a lets say acura and pretty much ruin it by lowering it a lot.

To Rob454 and other V8 friends, Sorry about telling you but Volkswagen Suxs!!!! Like those stuped hondas are leading the US ricers cars the VW´s lead ricers here in my country and are very common in South America..
I´m completely exausted too see these POS jettas with 19 inch wheels, wings, A3 Audis with fart exaust tip sound, Golfs(small jettas)with those stuped neon lights, even some old BMW´s(early 1990´s) I´ve seen it with the most ridiculous colors and lights you can imagine....

hmmmm,
I don't think they are making fun of Asians in general, they are making fun of everyone who makes their cars look ugly without the performance to back it up.
I don't care about what Tiago has to say about VW's. He can voice his opionion. However, you still have to admire my previous post on the Golf R32 by HPA. That thing is a monster. What i would call a true sleeper.
I personally, still like the old V8 muscle. But, i admire the true pocket rockets, that is a little 4 or 6 cylinder that is able to just kick tail. If, they would just keep all the dam ugly stickers and wings off of those cars, they wouldn't be half bad.

Personally if someone has a car that runs 12s in the qt mile I dont really care if its a 4-6-8 cyl. i still think its pretty impressive.
I think cars that have a ton of stickers and add on crap on them is ugly but then again they may be saying the same abotu my dakota with a winch, brush guard, 33 muds and camper shell.
I guess one mans beauty is another mans trash

Now, to get it straight. To us MOTOR HEADS when we refer to something as RICE, it's the DAMN MODS not the car or cause it's Asian, etc. I see RICED DAKOTA's ok! LOL!. There's one up the street from me that's lowered, fat wheels, R/T looking thing etc. But when he starts it, you can tell it's a stock and weak 3.9 V6. He stares at me when I drive by with my loud 4.7 V8.

I don´t understand why people don´t stay with these cars in Stock form.... One more time these cars suxs!!!
I know that every car may be a ricer car if someone put those s#$its on it but these japonese and european vehicles are more susceptible to be riced. Why?
Because people who buy these cars wacthed The Fast and the Furious and think their cars can be like the ones in the movies just spending $500 dollars and also putting a 30hp shot of NOS...
The golf by hpa and some supras can be excluded from the rest.. Anything is possible with money!
But you guys know much more than me these cars will never sound like a powerful v8 or even mild modified and will never beat a v8 small or big block with blower on it... And a 4 with or 6 cylinder with 400, 600 or 900hp like that 5 cyl golf won´t have their engines the long life the V8 will have....
Most of the Japonese cars and alot of the european are small vehicles and became real easy to transform them on a POS... just putting a giganic rear spoiler or big weels and it´s done..
I´m not being prejudice person here but these people don´t have a "automotive culture" and don´t know sh*it about the V8´s history and especialy the cars they are driving... Any peolple any nationality can be a ricer and I´m sure we have them all countries because Fast and Furious was a fever and they don´t like good things! I don´t know about US but Here in my country those tunning stuff was sold like soda.... and the Nitrous sold like we never saw before(most for 4 banger to put a 20hp shot!)!!!! especialy the NOS sticks, hehheeehee........We call ricers here "COCONUTS HEADS"
Unfortunately we have people using american cars and they put ugly think on it... I even saw a guy at street that have a 4 banger white dak and do not turn the headlights on at night just turn on the green neon lights under his truck... He also had an fart exaust system with huge tip and 80 shot of NOS to brake his motor after a while..
When he saw my R/T he was amazed..... and told me that his truck had 220 horses with Nirous... I asked him if it was a 6 cylinder at least... and he told it was even faster than a V8... I laughed at him but I was realy sad inside my mind because I never had seen a Dakota that ugly.... He started rev his engine and when was green I just let him go away from my R/T......
Anyways since that time most daks I saw had good mods or were stock....
