After you install a Jet chip, are you supposed to reset the computer? I have a stage 2 chip and never reset it after i put it on. Would it make any difference in the performance?

Yes. After the initial installation, it's best to reset the PCM and allow up to 50 miles for the initial "relearn" and up to 200 miles for the longterm learn.

Surferpug,

Yes, I was running the Jet and am running the tstat. 4.7l likes it.

Tstat sits in housing lower front of engine passenger side. Toughest
part is that one bolt you can get to from top, other one from bottom.
Put the new one in same direction as old, re-bolt and you're done.
Suggest Robert Shaw GT755-180 available at Autozone. LMK if you have
further questions.
